The Dems are on the Move....
Literally!

Currently a very able team of volunteers is working on renovating the new space that will soon become the DEMOCRATIC RESOURCE CENTER.

We think you'll agree, the new office will be an open, welcoming space to continue to explore progressive values, build connections and support Democratic candidates going forward.

The move will begin on the April 29 weekend and the team will be working on office set up throughout the first week in May.  Carolyn Dunning is wearing a familiar hat once again as the Move Coordinator.

NEW ADDRESS: 440 Broadway, Eau Claire, WI  54703  - Effective April 29th

Carolyn Dunning has spent more than a decade working to energize the Eau Claire County Democratic Party.  Through her vision and strong leadership, the Democratic Resource Center became a reality.  Over the years, she has been the “office manager”, organizing and managing the many volunteers that have passed through those doors. While Carolyn has officially retired from the Office Manager position, she continues to be a mentor and coach to so many!

The Carolyn Dunning Scholarship for Progressive Activism has been created to honor and recognize the significant work Carolyn has done over the last decade.  The scholarships will assist other Democrats to learn skills needed to keep progressive values alive in Wisconsin. Scholarship recipients will be from the Chippewa Valley.

The Coffee Klatch has resumed!

  • A few years ago this coffee klatch was begun to create a space for individuals to have conversation about matters of public importance.  People do not have to be members of the Democratic Party to attend and there is no cost to attend.  This gathering affords a respectful environment for people of diverse opinion to share their ideas and perspectives. Come when you can and leave when you have to.  All are welcome!
