David Carlson, the Smart Justice Regional Organizer for the Chippewa Valley area of Wisconsin will be facilitating a conversation covering the overlap between criminal justice reform, incarceration, and environmental justice.

Guest panelists who will be participating in this event each bring a wealth of knowledge from the environmental justice and climate change domains, as well as being progressive thinkers who realize that the success of our environment is dependent on the success of ALL people.

This conversation will identify how destructive attitudes towards race, poverty, and incarcerated people, are interchangeable with the attitudes that allow corporations and politicians to continue sacrificing pieces of our earth and environment to make a quick buck.
