WHAT: Promote voting Democratically and cheer on the Blugolds by walking, riding, skating, or biking with the Eau Claire County Dems. Our “float” is Bob’s trailer filled with bales for riders, decorated with candidates’ signs, & pulled by Jeff Smith’s unique truck. Dems will be handing out candy, and candidates can campaign along the seven-block route.

ATTIRE: Wear your DEM or candidates’ shirts and buttons or patriotic gear. Challenge: Express this year’s UWEC Homecoming theme: “Nothing Cheddar than Eau Claire.” Add your Cheese Hats & other cheese-related regalia to your Democratic BLUE and candidate-inspired attire.

WHERE: Line up in the Oxford Ave Parking Lot, between Lake Street & W Grand Ave. The parade concludes in the parking lot at 1st & Water St.

WHEN:  Lineup begins at 9:00am. Please arrive no later than 9:45am. Parade kickoff is at 10:00am.
